WSS Associates is working on behalf of one of the largest property owners in the UK to help source a Lease Events Manager to oversee the delivery of the head lease and sub lease activity in conjunction with the Senior Property Managers on a specific portfolio with the aim being an improvement on the financial cost of the portfolio.

You will be the Programme Manager for all event activity within the portfolio. Your main contact will be with all Senior Property Managers and you will be actively involved in deciding what strategies to take, all negotiations throughout the process be it with Landlords, Customers or about transactions, supporting the internal business case processes and ensuring all accompanying data remains updated and accurate.

Accountabilities:

  • You will programme manage all head lease events such as rent reviews and renewals and will ensure they're all completed within the scheduled time frame and with the best financial outcome. This will also include overseeing the strategies taken and thus regular communication with the senior property managers on the portfolio will be required.
  • You will need to report on all of the progress of your lease event activity singling out all risks with a big focus on the finances of the portfolio. This includes reviewing, managing and forecasting on the budgets for all lease event work
  • Part of this role will include a research element as you will be required to gather up to date evidence/data from the market when it comes to supporting your negotiations.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Qualities:

  • This role requires you to be a Chartered General Practice Surveyor with at least 5 years post qualified experience.
  • A background working with both Landlords and Tenants and supporting transactions and negotiations on both sides.
  • A strong technical background is required - advanced Excel skills and good data reporting experience.
  • This role will require you to conduct presentations both internally and externally so experience of this will be highly advantageous.
